April 2022. I cannot believe it has been 2 years since I posted a Monthly Tea Party Idea! It is almost like the world stopped 2 years ago. One of the things it confirmed for me was the need for self-sufficiency and learning how to find food in Mother Nature and not always at the grocery store. As we are moving back to normal, I am going to increase my knowledge so I am prepared if, God Forbid, another pandemic, or other disaster, should hit. So, this month I spent my time in my yard picking Dandelion Flowers and experiment with them making TEA! I must say I found picking them fun and the tea delightful. I combined my first cup of Dandelion Tea with a piece of left-over Oreo Cookie Brownie and, to balance that out, a piece of cantaloupe. When serving this Tea for guests, consider floating a freshly cleaned flower on it for aesthetics. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
